Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving week started, fittingly, with turkeys in our backyard. To Joshua, they were "doggies." To the cats, they were fascinating. To me, they looked tasty!

Check out our little strawberry blonde!

Abby helped me make cupcakes and got serious about licking the bowl.

Apple!

We got the Christmas tree and started decorating the house on Friday and Saturday. Abby and Joshua are getting into the Christmas spirit with their bells.

On Saturday, we planned a family trip to the aquarium. We had to go with plan B when Abby came down with the stomach flu! Poor kiddo!

We ended up having a lovely day anyway, with family coming down to help us decorate the tree, enjoy the season's first fire in the fireplace, and have a nice meal together.

Joshua preferred to bonk Uncle Bob in the head with the ornaments.

Making styrofoam "snow" (a mess!!).

Abby and Joshua working on their chair together. They markers as being used a screwdrivers. So cute!
