Take a Hike

We had another gorgeous day today, so we decided to take Abby out to the Outing Club cabin for a hike.

We love to hike to the Bluffs, which overlook the Allegheny River. As you can see, it's still winter here in Western PA...there wasn't a leaf in sight on a single tree.

Usually when we hike, Abby rides with Dad in her backpack. It's exciting that she can walk this summer (unlike last summer), and she insisted on hiking like a big girl for the first time.

She did a great job, and hiked for quite a while, until the rocks got too big for her little legs. Then, she happily got back in the backpack and enjoyed her ride home.
