Lions and Tigers and Bears...Oh My!

Last weekend, we headed to a local animal park. It was Abby's first trip to a zoo of any kind, and she seemed to enjoy it. She knew what a lot of the animals were, and made animal noises all day. She was most fascinated with the stones covering the walkway, however, and at one point, I caught her putting handfuls of them down the neck of her onesie. The next diaper change was a bit rocky. Ha! Couldn't help it. :-)

Abby had no fear of the animals, and she was really fascinated with this baby camel. The camel was equally interested. Abby petted the camel and got brave enough to lean over and give it a hug. It was very cute! I wish we got a picture of that.

Abby really loved feeding the goats. We didn't even show her how to do it. She just watched the kids around her and picked up some extra feed from the ground.

In addition to the camels and goats, we saw baby bears, lions, tigers, leopards, monkeys, turtles, ponies, reindeer and more. All in all, it was a fun day.
