Mother's Day Weekend

Mother's Day weekend was very fun! It started out with Abby sticking a pea up her nose. Can you see it?

I'm glad we taught her to blow her nose already. I just held her other nostril shut and she blew the pea across the kitchen. Nice!

We had friends in visiting for the weekend and spent Sunday at the cabin. We made mountain pies around the fire for lunch while Abby took a nap (yay!). Then, we headed out on a long hike. Abby is a good little hiker. She will ride in the backpack for a while, then hike for a bit, and then ride again. She did very well, though she got antsy at the end. The view from the bluffs was gorgeous with all the trees just getting their new leaves.

Abby also got her first driving lesson. The things you can do in the W. PA woods!

After our cabin outing, we headed to the outlets to get a pair of shoes for Abby, then had dinner at Eat 'n Park. It was yummy, and Abby was very well-behaved. In all, it was a great weekend. Now, back to packing!
