SURPRISE!!

Tomorrow is Brian's 30TH BIRTHDAY!!!! So, last night we had a surprise birthday party for him and he co-worker Steve, who also turned 30 recently. I have been running around like crazy for the past few weeks, pretending I was other places and basically lying up a storm to keep this a secret. Brian did not make it easy!! It worked, though, and he was pretty shocked to find a bunch of people gathered for a party when he thought he was going to work on a facilitation. Here are a few pics.


Brian was so surprised that he spent the rest of the night laughing and figuring out all my lies during the previous weeks. Ha ha! We had a fun night. The students brought and played Wii and Dance Dance Revolution, which was very entertaining. Abby got lots of attention, as usual. I wasn't sure how she would do at a party that went past her bedtime, but she was great. She took a short nap and then was up until 11:30 or so, when we finally got cleaned up and off to bed. I figured she would sleep in the next morning, since she went to bed over 3 hours past her bedtime. Nope! She was up at 7AM, just like usual. Lucky her, though, she got to take a very long nap in the afternoon to make up for it.

Anyway, tomorrow we are headed out to the cabin so Brian can shoot. It was the only thing he requested doing for his birthday. Hopefully the weather will be decent so we can take a hike.
