A Rated PG Post

Warning...this post has a PG rating due to some mistakenly filthy language. You have beeen warned. Read on at your own risk.

Abby has been learning how to say more and more things every day, which has been amusing in some circumstances. She can't pronounce some things totally correctly yet, and those words sometimes come out sounding a bit...inappropriate. For instance, there was a period of a week or two when Abby would say "dumbass". Brian and I were confused as to where she might have learned such a word, since neither of us says it. We tried not to laugh in front of her, but of course we thought it was hilarious. As it turned out, we realized she had been saying her own version of "pajamas". She calls them "jamas", and every time they come out sounding more like the aforementioned curse. And we always snicker. And then I tell her not to call her daddy that. :-D

Not too long after that, when we left the house, Abby started telling us to "suck it". Huh? Seriously, we do not use these words/phrases! It took a little while to realize that she is really asking for a jacket. Ahhhh...that makes more sense.

Now, Abby has recently started walking around the house, saying "bullshit". She even seems to say it at times when it seems appropriate to the conversation, strangely. The translation of this word is "push it". Abby has learned what it means to push something, and it is one of her favorite things to do as of late. She loves pushing her stroller or shopping cart down the sidewalk. She will do it for hours, all the time saying "bullshit". Think the neighbors are starting to wonder?

I love the dumbass one! Nourit used to say 'fork', very loudly, and in her baby accent you know what it sounded like!
