Yesterday was an unusually warm day here in Western PA...record-breaking, in fact. We couldn't let the day go by without taking advantage, so we threw Abby in the Bjorn and headed off to explore. We found a well-maintained trail through an old railroad bed just off campus. Who knew!? It's a great, quiet, close place for a hike, and I'm sure we will be frequenting it when the weather is nice again (which might be in May or so, if we're lucky!).
Abby and Dad love the Baby Bjorn. Abby's getting pretty heavy, though, so we'll be shopping for a backpack soon! We're very excited to take her hiking/camping in the summer. She really likes the outdoors (good thing, in this family!). When the wind blows, she sticks her little tongue out like she's tasting it. So funny.
